FH Wien

FHWien of WKW is Austria’s leading university of applied sciences for management and communications.12 of its 17 degree programmes along with the FHWien MBA course are fully accredited by the FIBAA. In close cooperation with both domestic and international businesses, FHWien of WKW currently provides comprehensive, practice-oriented continuing education and university degree programmes for over 2.500 graduates and undergraduates. Additionally, two-thirds of its lecturers are working professionals. The university carefully tailors its academic and research programmes to the needs of the business sector, thus preparing graduates – over 7.500 to date – for successful careers.

Sieglinde MartinSieglinde Martin
Sieglinde Martin graduated at the Vienna University of Economics with her prize winning thesis on “Education and Further Education at Universities”. She visited continuous further education in the field of business leadership, marketing and communications, e.g. at the Kellogg University, Chicago and University of Peddington, UK. In addition she is trained as systemic coach and NLP practitioner. Sieglinde Martin is Head of the Institute for Communication, Marketing & Sales at the FHWien – University of Applied Sciences of WKW in Vienna. Further she was the Academic Head of the Program “Professional in Advertising”, a cooperation project between the Werbe Akademie & FHWien of WKW (2007-2010) and Head of the Academic Board (2008-2012). Previous to her academic functions, Martin worked for nearly 20 years in various leading marketing and sales management positions in international companies, such as Microsoft, Xerox, Mondi Business Paper and Philips. She launched several international marketing projects and advertising campaigns on an integrated approach and gained a lot of intercultural experiences.

Kirstie Riedl:

Born in the UK, Kirstie has been living in Vienna for 20 years.  She holds a BA (hons) degree in German & Hispanic Studies, and a Executive MBA, both from British Universities.  Her business  experience includes various marketing positions at Coca-Cola MENA in Bahrain, Sellotape UK, REWE Konzern Austria, Frisch & Frost Austria.  Her last corporate position was heading the Distributor CEE Sales team at OMV Austria, where she worked for 5 years.  She started at the University of Applied Science for Management & Communication, Vienna, in May 2016 and teaches Branded Entertainment, PR, supervises BA/MA theses and co-ordinates adjunct lecturers for the English taught modules.
