Learn the skills necessary to design a campaign measurement programme, gain knowledge of theories of advertising effectiveness and earn the confidence to write an effectiveness paper with the Advanced Certificate in Effectiveness.

The IPA Advanced  Certificate in Effectiveness, is an online foundation course offered by the IPA in association with the EACA. This qualification provides you with the knowledge to develop a greater understanding of and a forensic approach to the evaluation of your campaigns. Starting with objective setting, candidates will go from learning how to design measurement programmes across multiple platforms and analysing the impact of their campaigns to writing case studies to showcase their success.

Format

The qualification compromises of 35 hours of online learning (2-3 months time), culminating in a 2 hour online exam.

Audience

Anyone involved in the evaluation and development of effective creative work, whatever the discipline, on either agency or client-side. In particular, mid-level planners with at least two to three years’ experience.

More junior practitioners should embark on the Effectiveness Essentials Certificate.

Exam

To gain the official qualification there is an online examination. You will need to choose the date of your exam at the time of booking.

The booking deadline for the Advanced Certificate in Effectiveness is set approximately 2 months before the exam date. Any bookings requested after the publicised booking deadline may be refused.
