NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences (Dutch: NHTV internationaal hoger onderwijs Breda) is a vocational university in Breda, Netherlands. It was founded in 1987 with the merger of two educational institutions. Since, the university has increased in the number of staff, students and programmes offered. In 2010 there are more than 7,000 students from over 70 countries studying in the university in different types of programmes offered both in English and Dutch. NHTV Breda University offers 18 full-time bachelor’s degree programmes. Two master programmes and one part-time bachelor’s degree programme. NHTV Breda University is currently offering nine English taught bachelor programmes and five English taught master programmes.
Arnoud’s career has covered more than 15 years in several marketing areas. He started out as Marketing manager at De Jong Intra Vakanties (DJIV), a big tour operator in the Netherlands, where he gained experience in all facets of marketing, including sponsorships and advertising campaigns. Before joining NHTV, Arnoud started to work for his own company Arfacom, which offered advice & consultancy in brand strategies, positioning, change- and reputation management. Besides his work as lecturer Marketing at Breda University, Arnoud is also a jury member of the SAN, Stichting Adverteerder jury Netherlands and a member of Communicatie Netwerk Baronie (CNB), association of marketing professionals. Arnoud looks forward to sharing real-life industry experience with enthusiastic and motivated students.
