The University offers 57 undergraduate degrees, 46 master’s degrees and 23 doctoral programs at its 4 campuses (Pamplona, San Sebastián, Madrid and Barcelona).  The university contributes to students’ education through personalised mentoring with activities aimed at acquiring professional competences and personal habits that stimulate personal development in all of its dimensions: cultural, artistic, religious, athletic and solidarity.

The University of Navarra School of Communication has been a pioneer in offering Communication studies in Spain at university level, with the launching of its Degree in Journalism back in 1958. Since then, other undergraduate and graduate programs have followed thanks to this innovative spirit, with the most recent addition of a new Degree in Marketing in the academic year 2016-2017.

Aware of the impact of the media in our society, the School seeks to prepare professionals who are capable of discovering and bravely transmitting the truth, who at the same time appreciate the social responsibility of their job and the importance of the service they provide. The Christian inspiration that guides and defines the University of Navarra contributes to the emphasis placed on the importance of an education that combines the development of professional skills and abilities with personal integrity.

Our educational institution is ranked in the top 100 schools in Communication, Culture and Media by the QS World University Ranking by subject 2016. And it’s the fifth one worldwide among those of a medium-size by their number of students.

Jürg Kaufmann

As lecturer in the Advertising and Public Relations degree, Jürg has been teaching Marketing Foundations and Media Planning since 2011. As professor since 2011 in the Advertising and PPRR Degree (now Marketing Degree) Jürg teaches Foundations of Marketing to undergraduate students. The coordination, counselling and evaluation of the final projects of our senior students is also an important part of his teaching activities. I am also an academic coordinator of the International Relations Office. Before returning to his Alma Mater (Degree in Advertising and PR, 2001-2005), Jürg worked in the professional industry and had the opportunity to experience advertising from different angles: as an account executive in advertising agency Pool CP in Madrid (2006-2007), as a product manager in the marketing department of Cartier Spain (2008) and as a media planner in Mediacom Zürich (2010-2011).
